Beef fat

It is a fat extracted from beef bones. It is a food product that is traditionally used in many cuisines around the world for its taste and culinary applicability.

Chemical composition: beef fat consists of both saturated fats and also monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (Omega 3 and Omega 6 acids). It also contains small amounts of fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin E.

Texture: beef fat at room temperature is solid and has a texture similar to lard. It may have a slightly whitish colour.

Taste and aroma: beef fat has an intense flavour and aroma that can add a distinctive meaty taste to dishes.

The main advantages of hydrolysed dried beef protein are:

  • Source of vitamins and minerals: beef fat is a source of vitamin A and vitamin D, which are essential for skin, vision, bone and immune system health. It also contains some minerals such as iron.
  • Taste and flavour: beef fat can add a unique taste and aroma to dishes. It is often used for frying or braising meat, which gives dishes a distinctive flavour.
  • Shelf life: beef fat is durable and has a longer shelf life than some other fats. As a result, it can be stored for a longer period of time.
  • Gluten-free: Beef fat is naturally gluten-free, which means it can be consumed by people suffering from gluten intolerance.
  • Calorific value: beef fat is a source of energy, which can be beneficial for those who are physically active or work in conditions that require a lot of exertion.
